LISTEN TO BORN DANCIN' FOR ELECTRIC CELLO AND DRUM MACHINE BY EVE BEGLARIAN ONLINE!!!
In 1989 I commissioned NYC composer, Eve Beglarian to create a new work for my new Tucker Barrett electric cello. I had worked with Eve at a festival in upstate New York and was really excited by her music, so it seemed natural to commission her to compose an original work for my new instrument. I loved collaborating with Eve! The result was Born Dancin' for electric cello and drum machine. The work is based on a short story by Donald Barthelme. A performance begins with a reading of the story which gives insight to the music that follows. Here is the link to the recording which was done in the early 1990's.
